It took me forever to get this post up but here is a little something from the Parklux show back in Oct. As always the amazing Kara Chomistek amazing the YYC with an outstanding show. Lauren Bagliore showed in my opinion the best clothing this city has seen on a runway. The coats and the draping used in this collection really pushed the limits of style and sexy winter street wear.

The hair of course was my highlight and the highlight for so many others!!! It truly was perfection. My team blew me away wit their skills – Lindsay, Kurt, Kelly, Shawna, Mickalyn, Jessica, Lisa, from Hedkandi salon. The original style was inspired from Bumble and Bumble from this years NYC fall fashion week. The second look change came from the inspiration of Lauren Bagliore herself. Hey everyone, here we go again!! Another Park event – my FAV for the year. Kara Chomistek and her team always know how to show this city a REAL fashion show with talented local designers, make up artist and of course hair dressers. What a beautiful and hopeful moment for fashion in Calgary…… last night Parkluxe delivered a graceful and sophisticated event for those in the city who love fashion and love to support local talents. With Kara Chomistek and the Park team heading up an eloquent and well executed show, the designers were able to show case their strengths and give Calgarians a vision into what the fall and winter fashion will look like for the up coming season. Of course my talented and incredibly passionate hair team from Hedkandi Salon did another outstanding and exceptional job styling the hair. My vision for this event I shared early on with Kara after we shot the Campaign. I knew a classic, clean timeless look would be perfect for this amazing runway!! Being held at Jamison Place on 4 ave the venue had people awe-struck with  floor to ceiling windows, alluring blown glass lighting, a runway along side water and let’s remember the incredible green leafed wall…… all of this was in an atrium!
Thank you to the models for a great catwalk and to all those involved. I can’t wait to see the future of runway in YYC. k*
